The Prime Minister, Taur Matan Ruak has once again reaffirmed that he is ready to be the first to be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, against COVID-19, and encouraged all citizens to do the same, to increase their immunity against the Virus SARS-CoV-2 and thus avoid cases of death, since, so far, health experts do not know when or how this pandemic will stop.

“This vaccine will allow our citizens to increase their ability to fight this disease, thereby preventing the death of many people. COVID-19 is the enemy of all of us, we can’t let it beat us in this battle. Let’s all together fight COVID-19!”, referred the Prime Minister.

The Chief of the Executive assured that the Government is making every effort to obtain the next shipments so that all Timorese can get vaccinated and be free of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
