Commemoration of National Veterans Day

From 1 to 3 March 2019, National Veterans Day Commemorations will take place, in order to honor the contribution made by martyrs, combatants and veterans who fought for the independence of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (RDTL).
The celebrations will start on March 1, with a mass at 9 am in the Garden of Heroes of Metinaro.
On March 2, between 8 am and 5:30 pm, a seminar will take place at the Dili Convention Center (CCD).
On March 3, National Veterans Day, the celebrations will take place at the Government Palace, at 7:45 am with the raising of the FALINTIL and RDTL flags, speeches and veterans' march to the CCD, where the fraternization lunch and with activities taking place until 5 pm, time to drop the national flag.
