Message of Solidarity to Spain
In the wake of the tragic events in Barcelona and Cambrils last week the Government of Timor-Leste sends a message of solidarity to the Government of Spain and to the Spanish people.
Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, H.E. Dr. Rui Maria de Araujo said “our hearts go out to the Spanish people and to those from many other countries who were the victims of these terrible attacks.”
The Government offers condolences to the family and friends of those whose lives were lost and sends a message of support to the King of Spain, His Majesty Don Felipe VI and the President of the Government of Spain, His Excellency Mariano Rajoy Brey.
The Government also recognizes and commends the work done by first responders and the Spanish security forces in extraordinarily difficult circumstances.ENDS
