Prime Minister celebrates World Malaria Day in HeraThe Prime Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Health, Ana Isabel Soares, celebrated the eighth World Malaria Day, with the theme " End Malaria For Good”", in Hera Hamlet, Dili, on the day April 27, 2017.
The Head of Government visited the exhibition on the ways of preventing this disease and followed the explanation of the doctor Maria do Rosário on the evolution of the prevention of this disease in Timor-Leste.
The Chief Executive praised the intervention and stressed that in order to combat malaria in Timor-Leste, the contribution of all people, including health professionals, such as Maria do Rosário, is necessary.
