"The heroes of the FALINTIL were disciplined and organized, capable of making plans, of leading, and more important, they were able to trust one another. Despite living in difficult conditions and lacking everything, they were able to resist with few resources and they never lost their courage to fight for independence. This was the value they left for the future generations. Therefore, the FALINTIL-FDTL, maintain, firmly, the stability and security of our nation, "added Chief General Staff of F, Major General Lere Anan Timur.
