During the bilateral meeting between Minister Bendito Freitas and his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, essential issues of mutual interest will be discussed, including the visit of the President of the Republic, José Ramos-Horta, to China, the “Belt and Road” Cooperation Plan, China's position on the South China Sea issue, China's reiterated support for Timor-Leste's accession to ASEAN, cooperation between CPLP member countries and China and the Air Services Agreement between Timor-Leste and China, among other issues.
