SECOMS launches Strategic Plan for Media

The Secretary of State for Social Communication (SECOMS – acronym in Portuguese), Expedito Dias Ximenes, will launch the SECOMS Strategic Plan 2024 - 2028 tomorrow, February 8^th, 2024, at a ceremony aimed at all media partners.

As an institutional guide, this Strategic Plan aims to guide the activities of the Secretariat of State during its term in office from 2024 to 2028 by outlining the functional and operational guidelines necessary for the efficient implementation of this strategic plan.

This strategic plan is also essential to facilitate this institution’s collaboration with its partners to contribute directly and indirectly to the implementation process and guarantee freedom of expression and access to information for the entire population in Timor-Leste.

During the launch, SECOMS will also sign partnership agreements with print and online media organisations.
