Manual release "Understanding Human Rights"
Location: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste
The launch of the book "Understanding Human Rights - Educational Manual on Human Rights" will be held next July 21st, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste.
This event is organized by the Ombudsman for Human Rights and Justice of Timor-Leste and the National University, in collaboration with the Executive Secretariat of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (acronym in Portuguese: CPLP).
CPLP supported the development of the Portuguese version, with the original work written by Wolfgang Benedek, an initiative of the Ius Gentium Conimbrigae / Centre for Human Rights at the University of Coimbra. This manual is primarily addressed to all CPLP countries and includes a section with bibliographic references and institutional information on CPLP Member States.
The work was previously released in Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Portugal.
