Timor-Leste and South Sudan establish diplomatic relations

The Governments of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the Republic of South Sudan, endeavoring to develop and strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, in accordance with the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, have decided to establish diplomatic relations at the Ministerial level in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18,1961.
This agreement was signed on October 13 this year.
