Prime Minister on official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand
Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão travels to the Kingdom of Thailand on official visit from 25 to 29 April.
In the Kingdom of Thailand, Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with his counterpart Yingluck Shinawatra. On the same day, Xanana Gusmão will be guest of honor in an official dinner offered by the Thai Prime Minister. Several Thai ministers will attend the dinner, including ASEAN ambassadors and representatives of the private sector.
On the last day of his visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the 69th Session of the United Nations Economic and Social commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
The Minister of Education, Bendito Freitas, will accompany the Prime minister in this official visit and will be meeting with about one hundred Timorese students in that country.
The Prime Minister’s delegation also includes the Minister of Finance, Emília Pires, the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Kabualdi Lay, and the Secretary of State for ASEAN Affairs, Roberto Soares.
