Symbolic handover ceremony of the UNMIT assets to the Government

The symbolic handover ceremony of the assets donated by the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) to the Government will take place on May 21, at the Government Palace, Díli.
The ceremony starts at 9.30am with a speech by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of UN, Ameerah Haq, followed by the assets inspection by the Government technical team , a symbolic exhibition of the assets of UNMIT to be donated and the signature of the Certificate of Ownership.
The closing speech will be made by the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão.
