Women National Day

The Secretariat of State for the Promotion of Equality will celebrate the Women National Day under the theme "Enhancing Women's Participation in National Development Policy".

The event will be attended by the President of the Republic, José Ramos-Horta, the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão and the Secretary of State for the Promotion of Equality, Idelta Maria Rodrigues.

In addition, there will be other activities such as awards delivery to Media and certificates to former Gender Focal Points, from the movie titled "Women's Rights are Human Rights", soccer, dance and flower display.
