International Women’s Day

The Secretariat of State for the Promotion of Equality will celebrate the International Women’s Day on March 8. The celebrations will take place in Delta Nova, Comoro, with beginning at 3 p.m and end at 6.30 p.m.
This celebration will have the presence of the Secretary of State for Promotion of Equality, Idelta Rodrigues, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Ameerah Haq, the President of the National Parliament, Fernando Lasama Araújo, the Vice Prime Minister, José Luís Guterres and the President of the Republic, José Ramos-Horta that in this order will make a brief speech.
The Uma Lulik group, with traditional dances and a girl’s music band will be also present at this event.
