Timor-Leste in the CPLC Games in Mozambique

The seventh edition of the CPLC Games is held in Maputo, Mozambique.
Six East Timorese athletes are among the more than five hundred youth coming from the eight countries of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLC), to participate in two modalities: tennis and athletics.
This biannual championship has been taking place since 1992. It is aimed at young people aged up to 16 years. For the Paralympics, the organization extends the limit to 20 years old.
The types of sport that comprise this championship are handball, athletics, basketball, soccer, tennis, beach volleyball, and adapted sports, among others.
