CONSTITUTION OF THE VILLAGE (SUCO) ELECTORAL BOARD AND CANDIDACIES FOR THE ELECTION OF HEAD OF VILLAGE (SUCO) AND RESPECTIVE LITIGATION
October 13th, 2023
> Meeting of the Village (Suco) Council to set up the Village (Suco) Electoral Board and to receive candidacies for Head of Village (Suco);
> Verification and decision by the Village (Suco) Electoral Board on the admissibility of candidacies submitted for election as Head of Village (Suco).
> Deadline for lodging a complaint against the decision to admit or reject candidacies for Heads of Village (Suco) and the decision of the Village (Suco) Electoral Board on the complaints submitted.
> Deadline for appeal against the decision of the Village (Suco) Electoral Board on the complaints lodged against the admission or rejection of the candidacy for Head of Village (Suco) and the decision of the Village (Suco) Council on the appeal lodged.

> Posting of the notices of Hamlet (Aldeia) Assembly meetings for the election of community leaders and Village (Suco) Council meetings to monitor the final tabulation of the results of the election of the Head of Village (Suco).
October 28th, 2023
> Election day for Heads of Village (Suco), Heads of Hamlet (Aldeia) and Hamlet Delegates to the Village (Suco) Council.
> Start of vote counting and tabulation of the election results.
October 29th, 2023
> Tabulation of results for Head of Village (Suco).
> Complaints on vote counting and tabulation of results.
> Appeal against the decision handed down by the Village (Suco) Electoral Board regarding complaints lodged about vote counting or results tabulation.
Second ballot in the process of electing community leaders
Until November 10th, 2023
> Posting of the notices of the Hamlet Assemblies meetings for 2nd ballot for the election of the Head of Village (Suco) and the meetings of the Village (Suco) Councils to monitor the final tabulation of the results of the 2nd ballot for the election of the Head of Village (Suco).
November 13th, 2023
> The second ballot to elect the Head of Village (Suco).
> Start of vote counting and tabulation of the election results.
November 14th, 2023
> Tabulation of results for Head of Village (Suco).
> Complaints on vote counting and on tabulation of results.
> Appeal against the decision handed down by the Village (Suco) Electoral Board regarding complaints lodged about vote counting or results tabulation.

> Constitution of the Village (Suco) Electoral Board for the Lia-Na’in and Youth Representatives election for the Village (Suco) Council.
> Presentation of candidacies for Lian-na'in and Youth Representative to the Village (Suco) Council at the Village (Suco) Electoral Board.
Verification of the candidacies presented for Lia-na'in and Youth Representative to the Village (Suco) Council and decision by the Village (Suco) Electoral Board on the admissibility of the candidacies submitted.
Vote for the election of the Lia-na'in and Youth Representatives to the Village (Suco) Council.
Vote counting and tabulation of results for the election of the Lia-na’in and Youth Representatives to the Village (Suco) Council.
DISPATCH OF ELECTION DOCUMENTS TO THE MINISTRY OF STATE ADMINISTRATION

> Dispatch of the election documents from the Villages (Suco) to the Administration of the Administrative Post.

> Dispatch of the election documents from the Villages (Suco) to the General Directorate for Administrative Decentralization.
