2010 Darwin-Dili Yacht Rally
The 2010 Darwin Dili Yacht Rally will start at 11 am in an area to the west of the Darwin Sailing Club. The event will be started by Timor-Leste’s Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Mr.Gil Alves.
Eight yachts and 47 sailors will make the 425 nautical mile trip of to the capital of Timor-Leste. The initiative is coming back as an annual event in the north Australian/SE Asian yachting calendar, after a break of over 35 years.
