Secretary of State for Livestock visits Paris
From 23 May until 28 May
The Secretary of State for Livestock Valentin Varela, will visits Paris for work, during six days, from the 23rd to the 28th of May.
The objective of this visit is to participate in the OIE World Assembly (The World Organization for Animal Health), with 175 other country members, to elect the new General-Director for the period of 2011 to 2015. Timor-Leste participates as an observer.
Besides the election of the new director, other issues will also be discuss, such as the regional and international issues related with animal health. It is intended essentially that an efficient international coordination mat exist in regards to the control of animal health and animal international mobilization and their products.
