Minister of Justice visits Rome and Portugal
The Minister of Justice, Lúcia Lobato, accompanied by the Director of the Justice Training Centre, Marcelina Tilman, went to Rome and Portugal for a working visit.
From the 14th to the 21st she will be in Rome to participate in the 5th International Congress of Ministers of Justice.
From the 21st until the 26th of May, the Minister of Justice will be in Portugal to discuss, with her portuguese counterpart, the possibility of improving and reinforcing their cooperation in the Justice area in Timor-Leste (on the implementation of agreements celebrated between the Governments of Timor-Leste and Portugal in the area of training Judicial Magistrates, Public Magistrates, Public Defenders and Justice Officials).
In this visit she will also have the opportunity to discuss the creation process of the Court of Justice/Accounts and of the Criminal Investigation Police.
