Days-Off on November 27 and 29, 2017
The Government decided to grant days-off on 27 and 29 November to all the employees and agents of the ministries or their dependent services, as well as the institutes and integrated indirect State administration bodies.
In granting these two days, the Government intends to allow all official entities, employees and public in general to travel peacefully to the official commemorations of the Proclamation of Independence Day of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, taking place in the Municipality of Suai, in November 27 and 28, as well as the celebrations that will take place throughout the country.
This decision is based on Law no. 10/2005, of August 10, which predicts conceding days-off due on account of a national event. ENDS
