Day-Off on December 26th, 2016 and January 2nd, 2017
Taking into account the festive season, which includes family reunions and the traditional celebration of the arrival of the new year, the Government decided to grant a day-off on December 26th, 2016 and January 2nd, 2017.
This decision covers all employees and agents of the ministries or their dependent services, as well as the institutes and bodies incorporated in the indirect State administration.
It is based on the Law no. 10/2005, of August 10th, which determines national holidays, commemorative dates and the official rules for granting of days off.
