Timor-Leste congratulates Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull
The Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, His Excellency Dr. Rui Maria de Araújo, on behalf of the Government and people of Timor-Leste, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Honorable Malcolm Turnbull MP on his appointment last week as Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia.
In a letter to Mr. Turnbull, Prime Minister Araújo said “I look forward to working with you as Prime Minister and I am confident that with your optimism about Australia’s potential in our region and with our shared interests and values we can cooperate to further regional stability and prosperity.”
Prime Minister Araújo also took the opportunity invite Mr. Turnbull on an Official Visit to Timor-Leste.
