14th Conference of Ministers of Justice from the Portuguese Speaking Countries

From 19 Jun until 22 Jun

The 14th Conference of Ministers of Justice from the Portuguese Speaking Countries takes place in Díli, between June 19th and 23rd.

The Conference works in plenary, through meetings of Ministers of Justice, taking place in every two years. It has, as main goal, to promote the development of cooperation relationships among participating countries in the field of Justice, namely through:

a) Joined-up thinking over common interest subjects to the different legal and judiciary systems;

b) Evaluation of relations of bilateral and multilateral cooperation;

c) Identification of new cooperation areas;

d) Promoting the conclusion of new legal and judicial co-operation agreements and monitoring implementation of those which are already in force.
