Condolences for those lost in flight from Surabaya to Singapore
The Government of Timor-Leste extends condolences to the families and friends of those whose lives were lost with the crash of AirAsia flight QZ8501. The flight from Surabaya to Singapore carried 162 passengers and crew and went missing on Sunday.
The Government of Timor-Leste commends the Indonesia-led search which involved over 15 ships and 30 aircraft assisted by Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
Timor-Leste stands in solidarity and friendship with its close regional neighbors at this difficult time.
