Prime Minister travels to Thailand and South Korea

From 06 Aug until 13 Aug

The Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão will travel, from August 6th to August 13th, to the Kingdom of Thailand and to the Republic of Korea.

As Prime Minister of Timor-Leste and President of the 69th United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP), Xanana Gusmão will deliver one of the opening speeches, on August 7th, on this phase II of the 70th session of UNESCAP, taking place from August 4th to August 8th, in Bangkok.

From the capital of Thailand, the Prime Minister heads to South Korea where, following an invitation from the Universal Peace Federation, he will be the main speaker at the Opening Session, on August 10th, at the 2014 World Summit on “Peace, Security and Human Development”, taking place in Seoul, from August 9th to August 13th.
