Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Ministers, July 17th, 2014
The Government met extraordinarily this Thursday, July 17th, 2014, in the Council of Ministers' meeting room, at the Government Palace in Dili, where it received the Final Report on the activities of the Preparatory Committee of the CPLP Summit for the Biennium 2014-2016.
The document, which contains the work of the members of the Summit Preparatory Committee, was formally handed over by its President, Francisco Guterres Lu-Olo, accompanied by the team that during the last months developed the preparatory work for the X Conference of Heads of State and Government of the CPLP and the Rotating Presidency of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), which Timor-Leste will assume this Summit, extending up to 2016.
At this extraordinary meeting, the Government, together with the CPC, marked the 18th Anniversary of CPLP, which was created on July 17th of 1996.
