The Government of Timor-Leste, through the Secretary of State for Defence, delivered, last December 13th, 2013, nine vehicles “Mini Hicom” to Falintil–Defence Forces of Timor-Leste (F–FDTL) in order to facilitate the institution’s work, at its Headquarters, in Fatuhada, Dili.

The vehicles were bought from a Malaysian company, using funds from the State Budget of 2013, of around USD800.000,00.

At the vehicles’ awarding ceremony, the Vice Prime Minister, Fernando La Sama de Araújo, asked the F-FDTL to assure the good conditions of the vehicles, which “not only belong to the F-FDTL, but also to the people.
