Vice Prime Minister is recovering
The Vice Prime Minister, Fernando La Sama de Araújo, has recovered again, after a successful pulmonary surgery, performed last June 17, at Mount Elisabeth’s Hospital, in Singapore.
“The surgery lasted four hours, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Singapore’s local time and was successful”, informed the Chief of Staff.
The Vice Prime Minister is still in recovery and continues being assisted by the hospital’s medical team.
Fernando La Sama de Araújo started treatment at National Hospital Guido Valadares, on May 30, 2013, suffering from heart disease. After two days of treatment, the medical team recommended him being transferred to Royal Hospital, in Bali, Indonesia. After a week of treatment in this hospital, he got a new recommendation to continue treatment at Mount Elizabeth’s Hospital, in Singapore, where he is now recovering.
