Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation visits the CPLP headquarters in Portugal
This May, the Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation made an official visit to Portugal. On May 16th, José Luís Guterres met with the Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), Murade Murargi, in the headquarters of CPLP, at the Palace of Penafiel, in Lisbon.
At the end of the meeting, José Luís Guterres informed "issues were discussed regarding the organization of the 2014 CPLP Summit, in Timor-Leste. The CPLP Executive Secretary assured that the organization is available to provide assistance in technical areas.”
The Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, also held other meetings with the ambassadors from the CPLP countries, namely, Brazil, Angola, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe, Cabo Verde and Portugal.
