Training for candidates interested in becoming entrepreneurs of cooperatives and micro and small enterprises

On 22 April, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Environment, António da Conceição, inaugurated the first training programme for candidates interested in becoming entrepreneurs of cooperatives and micro and small enterprises in Dili. The training is taking place at the “10 de Dezembro” (10 December) Secondary School in Comoro, and will last from 22 April to 1 May.
The objective of the training is to encourage and better develop the cooperatives and micro and small enterprises existing in Timor-Leste. A number of 70 trainees taking part in the training course are from Dili district.
The Minister called upon the trainees to “make the best use this opportunity, for you will be the future entrepreneurs of cooperatives and micro and small enterprises in Timor-Leste. Commit yourselves in the development of cooperatives and micro and small enterprises, for they constitute one of the most important foundations of economic development of the country”.
This training will also be conducted in Baucau and Bobonaro districts.
