On 4 March, 2013 the Secretariat of State for Youth and Sports (SoSYS) renewed the contract of the indonesian international Kempo coach who, back in 2011, had trained the national athletes of this modality who won the gold medal during the Sea Games of Palembang, Indonesia.

The Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, Miguel Manetelo, stated that “this hiring has to do with the need to prepare the athletes of the Kempo Federation to enable them to take part in the Sea Games taking place in December in Myanmar. The contract is therefore for a period of 10 months”.

The hired coach, by the name of Henry Soselista, promised to employ all his efforts to train the athletes to enable them to be in a position to compete in the Sea Games: “I believe that the Kempo Federation will win two or three gold medals in the Sea Games of Myanmar.”

Also in attendance were the leaders of the Kempo Federation of Timor-Leste, the National Directors and the Heads of Department of the Secretariat of State for Youth and Sports.
