The Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment, Bendito Freitas, accompanied by Secretary of State for the Promotion of Equality, Idelta Maria Rodrigues, representing the Prime Minister, published the Report on the Implementation of the Programme 2007 - 2012, entitled " Five Years Marching With the People for Development (2007 - 2012) ", on July 31, 2012.

Bendito Freitas said, " this ceremony had two major objectives: first, to publish the Report of the Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment (SSPTEP) of the IV Constitutional Government of Timor -Leste, and second, to thank all these five years of work of SSPTEP. Myself, the staff of SoSPTEP and the development partners, we thank all who contributed to the development of our nation. "

The Secretary of State also added "SoSPTEP, for five years, successfully realized projects and achieved important objectives. Thousands of East Timorese youths were trained in different areas. We created new jobs, especially for young people and in rural areas, which have improved the quality of life of communities and facilitated access to education and health. "

In the ceremony was also launched the portal of the Labour Market National Observatory www.omtn.gov.tl which contains information on unemployment, employment, training and data related to the services of SoSPTE. Were also Delivered certificates to the enrolled training centres and to seven accredited training centres: Technical Training Centre in Communication (Ceftec), Institute for Business Development (IADE), Comoro Youth Vocational Centre, Bairro-Pité Youth Vocational Training Centre, Manatuto Youth Vocational Training Centre, Camea Youth Training Centre and Training Centre of the Secretaries and Tailors of Fuiloro.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Australian Embassy, of the Australian Agency for International Development, of the International Labour Organization, of the Trade Union Confederation of Timor-Leste, Entrepreneurs, General Directors, National Directors and staff of SoSPTEP.
