Prime Minister and Minister of Finance report on the implementation of the 2011 State Budget
The Prime Minister, together with a team from the Ministry of Finance, will make an analysis and a report on the implementation of the 2011 State Budget.
The aim is, with the cooperation of all government members, directors-general and national directors, to make the balance sheet of the 2011 State Budget and the implementation of the 2012 State Budget and reconcile ideas to find a way to meet the Public Finance debts related to last year.
According to the Vice Minister of Finance, Rui Manuel Hanjam, "even though the accounts of the State for 2011 have already closed, there are issues concerning the finances of the State that need to be addressed carefully, seriously and with responsibility, according to the rules of public finances, 2011 can be closed".
Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão and the team of the Ministry of Finance will visit the ministries, autonomous agencies and public companies. The onset of these visits occurred on January 16, in the Ministry of Infra-structure, followed by autonomous agencies (SAMES, IGE, PATL, RTTL and Civil Aviation), the Ministry of Health and EDTL. Following these will be the ministries of Education, Agriculture and Fisheries, Foreign Affairs, State Administration and Territorial Planning, Defence and Security, Justice, Tourism, Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Development.
