Vice Minister of Finance visits Integrated Border Posts of Batugade, Sakato and Salele
From July 19 to 21, the Vice Minister of Finance, Rui Manuel Hanjam, visited the Border Crossing Points in Batugade, Sakato and Salele. Accompanied by members of the Department of Customs and Taxes, the visit allowed to observe the progress of the construction of the Integrated Border Posts and ensure that they will be completed in late November, the predicted date for the inauguration.
Currently, the Border Posts in Batugade and Salele are in the final stages of construction, with its physical facilities completed. However, there is a delay in its construction of the Sakato Integrated Post due to complications related with land issues,which will be overcome through the mobilization of all available human and material resources in order to speed up the process and ensure the opening of all posts simultaneously.
