SoSPTE signs a Note of Understanding with Timor-Leste Airlines (TLA)
The Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment (SoSPTE) signed, on July 14th, 2011, a Note of Understanding with Timor-Leste Airlines (TLA) with the aim of cooperation regarding professional training of Timorese.
"The signing of this agreement is a good sign for the private sector regarding the national development process. The investment that the TLA is doing in Timor-Leste, can create job opportunities for young people in the future, "said Secretary of State, Benedito Freitas.
On this same occasion, the Secretary of State asked the Timorese who are working in this private company to behave as ambassadors of Timor-Leste in the world, acting with professionalism and discipline. This attitude will promote the image of Timor in the world, attracting tourists.
In his speech, the Director of TLA, Vasco Carrascalão da Silva, referred to the signing of the note of understanding as an important step, and a part of their contribution to the national development process in the country". With this objective, TLA will always be available to support professional training of its employees with quality ", noted Vasco Carrascalão da Silva.
