The Secretary of State Bendito Freitas signs a Note of Understanding with local partners

The Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment, Bendito Freitas, signed, on June 17, in Díli, a Note of Understanding with local partners from the 13 Training Centres, regarding a US$ 199,456.000 financing destined for 690 youngsters.

“The purpose of the signature of this Note of Understanding is to support the youth, making available work experiences and raising the human resources capacity”, enhanced the Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment.

Bendito Freitas, requested the Training Centres that signed this Note of Understanding with the Secretariat of State for Professional Training and Employment, to guarantee youngsters access to employment, after the conclusion of their course. It is intended that the Centres provide good training, particularly in the area of hotel management which will be a very important area in the future.

The 13 Training Centres are: The Timor-Leste Youth Vision Training Centre, The Manatuto St. Isabel Peace Centre, The Youth Vocational Training Centre in Comoro, The Youth Vocational Training Centre in Manatuto, The IT Training and the Madalena Morano Sewing Centres in Fuiloro, Senai Becora, Citra Mandiri in gleno, Claret Training Centre, CNEFP in Tibar and the Community Creative Centre.
