On May 9, in the Secretariat of State meeting room, the Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment, Bendito Freitas, delivered certificates to the 11 Professional Training Centres registered according to the national standard,.

“This is an important step for Government policy because it promotes an oriented professional training, one that can answer to the challenges, demands and employment for youth. Through the official registration, the 11 Training Centres are integrated in the Government policy with the objective of adapting the work system so they can be framed as strategic partners in human resources development, especially in the technical and professional areas”, highlighted the Secretary of State, Bendito Freitas.

The Secretary of State believes that “in the future, some of the centers that are not integrated in the registration system according to the national standard will be able to adjust their structures, financial resources and other facilities. The most important thing is that the professional training centre educates the trainees so they can be able to answer to the technical-professional demands of the working market.

The Professional Training Centres that received the certificates are: National Centre of Employment and Professional Training (CNEFP Tibar), Brazil-Timor-Leste Training Center (CENAI Becora), Information Technology and Sewing Training Centre (CTIC Baucau), East Timor Development Agency (ETDA), Youth Vocational Training Centre (CTVJ Comoro), Youth Vocational Training Centre (CTVJ Bairro Pité), Youth Vocational Training Centre (CTVJ Camea Becora), Youth Vocational Training Centre (CTVJ Manatuto), Youth Vocational Training Centre (CTVJ Gleno Ermera).
