TIMOR GAP participates in OTC Asia 2026, strengthening ties within the regional energy sector

Over the three-day event, the TIMOR GAP booth welcomed industry professionals, service providers, and energy sector representatives, who held technical meetings and exchanged information on offshore and onshore activities. Several participants sought up-to-date information on the development of the Greater Sunrise project and other ongoing initiatives in Timor-Leste.

The Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Malaysia, Lisualdo Menezes Coimbra Gaspar, and representatives from the regional energy industry, including members of the Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council, also attended the event. International companies and industry organisations expressed interest in opportunities for cooperation and training, and exploratory discussions were held to develop future partnerships.

Representatives from various companies in the energy sector visited the stand to share experiences and identify potential areas for collaboration, including developing technical skills and participating in energy projects.

The Offshore Technology Conference Asia is a biennial international event that brings together professionals from the energy sector to share technical and scientific knowledge on offshore resources and environmental issues, serving as an important platform for exchanging experiences and establishing partnerships within the sector.
