Direct Youth for the work market needs

On the 25^th and 26^th of February 2011, the Secretariat of State for Professional Training and Employment (Portuguese acronym SEFOPE), in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), organized a exposition in the Gymnasium (former GMT) in Dili about ways to employ youth,.

The purpose of the exposition was to inform and stimulate the students about the possibilities of opting the technical-professional and academic education after the high school education, highlighted the Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment, Bendito Freitas.

The Secretary of State considers that this expo on ways to employ youth, will help the process of finding jobs and career promotion in the several sectors, since it clarifies several issues about profession, education and professional training. An appeal was also direct by the Secretary of State, to the students, to make the most of this opportunity and find out more about education and training, in a way to develop their capacities according to the demands of the working market.

The Government intends to organize, this exposition annually through the SEFOPE.
