Celebration of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy with the Women's Leadership and Diplomacy Forum
On Monday, 24th June 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, under the leadership of the Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs, Milena Maria da Costa Rangel, and UN Women organised the "Women's Leadership and Diplomacy Forum" to commemorate the International Day of Women in Diplomacy. The event featured a high-level dialogue followed by a dinner, bringing together senior and emerging women diplomats, as well as female leaders in the sector. 
During the event, the remarkable contributions of women in shaping international engagements and advancing sustainable development and peace were celebrated. The event promoted discussions on overcoming structural barriers and promoting gender equality in diplomacy and international affairs. 
By showcasing success stories of women leaders in diplomacy, the aim was to inspire and empower future leaders, fostering an environment that supports their ambitions in politics, diplomacy, and public affairs.
