The Secretary of State of Professional Training and Employment, Bendito Freitas, declared that the Secretariat of State of Professional Training and Employment (Portuguese acronym SEFOPE) conceded a fund totalling two hundred and twenty and three thousand, seven hundred and twenty six American dollars, to the nineteen training centres in the thirteen districts, within the scope of the Government policy’s implementation regarding youth capacity building.

This type of support intends to reduce the number of students that have to move from the rural areas or from the districts, to Díli, to have training. The fund was delivered to the Training Centres representatives, at the SEFOPE building, in the second week of the month of July.

Bendito Freitas also added that the concession of this fund is based on the result of supervision and evaluation, made by the SEFOPE technical team, to proposals directed at the same institution, where there were other proposals that weren’t selected because they didn’t fulfil the requirements.

The proposal to obtain the referred fund was sent to the Secretariat of Professional Training and Employment, through the Professional Training National Directorate.
