PCM, MCAE and MNEC review priorities for WTO and ASEAN accession processes and improving business environment
On September 12th, 2022, the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Fidelis Magalhães, the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Joaquim Amaral and the Minister of Foreigner Affairs and Cooperation, Adaljiza Albertina Xavier Magno, with their respective teams, held a meeting at the Novo Turismo Hotel. 
The meeting aimed to ensure coordination between the Government entities and jointly analyse priorities for the ASEAN and World Trade Organization (WTO) accession processes, and also the process of improving the business environment.
During the meeting, the leaders and the technical teams discussed the pending activities and legislative initiatives that need, in the short term, to be approved by the Council of Ministers to meet the requirements and commitments necessary for these accession processes.
