Workshop on “Constraints analysis for Job creation”

The Secretariat of State for Professional Training and Employment (SEFOPE), through the National Directorate for Employment and jointly with the Australian Embassy and the International Labour Organization (ILO), has organized a workshop on the 26th and 27th of May, from 9am to 4 pm, at the Arbiru hotel.
It is SEFOPE’s understanding that creating jobs is a national priority.
Relating demand with the employment needs that Timor-Leste faces, the Government, through SEFOPE, creates a policy or strategy that may respond rapidly to the workers’ concerns.
With this workshop it is intended to discuss the strategy for creating more jobs in Timor-Leste. The participants must have this in consideration and share ideas regarding creating options to combat the constraints that are found.
The data resulting from this workshop will be a part of the draft for the National Strategy for Employment.
