Launch of the Electric Energy Distribution Line Extension
The Vice-Minister for Infrastructures, José Manuel Carrascalão, launched last week the project for the extension of the electrical energy distribution line in Aileu.
In his speech he referred that the Ministry of Infrastructures, through the Secretariat of State for Electricity, Water and Urbanization, inserted the project for the extension of the electrical energy distribution to the districts, in his annual action plan for the 2009 Budget, including Aileu as one of the Government’s priorities.
José Manuel Carrascalão appealed to the population of Aileu District to follow the installation rules, so as to minimize the negative impact that this may have on Aileu’s electricity distribution. The Vice-Minister highlighted that the care and maintenance of these State infrastructures must be taken into account “because they belong to all of us”.
