Ministry of Economy and Development and ENSULMECI sign an Urban Centre Project in Dili
The Government of Timor-Leste, through the Ministry of Economy and Development, signed an Agreement with the company ENSULMECI on the 13th of April, for the construction of an Urban Centre in the Timorese capital. This agreement marks the beginning of an important project for the economic growth and social development of Dili and Timor-Leste.
This is an ambitious initiative that will allow the fulfilment of the country’s socio-economic development policy, contributing, in a decisive way, to dinamize the local economy, to give impulse to strategic sectors and reinforce collective vision and social unity.
The project proposes the creation of an urban centre model and of excellence in the city of Dili, in Colmera, supplying the capital with a diversified space, including housing, offices, services, hospitality and social infrastructure, which will contribute to the urban, economic, social and environmental value of the city.
For the Government of Timor-Leste, this project signifies a strong stimulus and promotion of the economic activity, attracting new promoters, new activities, new residents and visitors.
