OECD representative praised the Díli International Dialogue results and its organization

Alexandra Trzeciak-Duval, representative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), one of the entities responsible for organizing the Díli International Dialogue, expressed an "enormous pride" for the results of the meeting.
The OECD Coordinator Development and Cooperation Policies believes that the agreement, approved by acclamation on Saturday, is a valuable tool for the Fragile States to take to the United Nations summit on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and to other international forums.
Alexandra Trzeciak-Duval described the Díli Declaration as an “historic” agreement where Fragile States can express their concerns “in real time " and expressed hope that the economic livelihoods of the populations of these Fragile States may benefit from the sharing of experiences during the two days of the meeting.
The OECD representative said she understood the concerns expressed by the Fragile States during the meeting, particularly criticism, by some States present, on the apparent lack of impact on investment and aid granted by development partners.
Alexandra Trzeciak-Duval also praised the way the Government of Timor-Leste was concerned in promoting a healthy and productive dialogue in a conference center she described as "extraordinary."
