Burial honours ceremony for martyrs of National Liberation in Liquiça

The Ministry of Social Solidarity organised a burial honours ceremony for 259 martyrs of the struggle for National Liberation. The event, the first of its kind held outside the capital, took place on June 14th, in the Garden of Heroes of Liquiça.
In addition to the relatives of the honoured martyrs, the ceremony included the participation of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, members of the Government, the President of the National Parliament, the President of the Court of Appeal, and the Chairman of the Homage Commission.
