2nd CPLP Conference on e-Government
This year the 2nd Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) Conference on E-Government took place between November 25th and November 28th, in Luanda, Angola, on the subject " Cybersecurity ".
From November 25th to November 27th, Luanda hosted the 3rd Meeting of the CPLP Focal Points, and on November 28th, the 2nd CPLP Conference on E-Government was held. The first meeting on e-Government took place on November 2013, in Lisbon.
During the 28th of November, representatives from CPLP countries dicussed about Cybersecurity, a transversal concern at a global level. CPLP countries are developing their E-Government platform and this subject has allowed the exchange of experiences in a matter that should be even more relevant than ever.
Timor-Leste was represented by the General Director of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, by the national advisor of said Ministry, Elizabeth Baptista, who leads a study in this area, and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Natalino Castro.
