Government transfers development funds to the Authority of the Special Administrative Region of Oe-cusse Ambeno
The Government and the Authority of the Special Administrative Region of Oe-cusse Ambeno signed, on August 4th, at the Government Palace, in Díli, the Protocol of Implementation of the Transfer of the Provision from the State Budget, aimed at the Budget of the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno.
The amount, allocated in the budget of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, of the General State Budget of this fiscal year, under the heading “ Project of Special Zone of Social Market Economy”, is USD 20.500.000 (twenty million and five hundred thousand American dollars).
The Statute of the Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno and the establishment of the Authority were approved this year, in June. The transfer of the amount was requested by the Authority of the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno, aiming the budget execution.
