The Ministry of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, through the Technical Training Centre in Communication (CEFTEC), held, on June 25th, an admission exam for the Portuguese Language Training (at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels) as a preparation for the next events of the CPLP.

134 professionals, from Administration and Protocol, media officers and journalists, participated in the admission exam, that took place at the conference room of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, from 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.

This Training, which will occur from July until October 2014, aims to develop four different competences (reading, listening, speaking and writing). The aim is ensuring the minimum and essential knowledge, especially to the professionals involved in the organization of the 10th Conference for Heads of State and Government, in Dili, and during the two years in which Timor-Leste assumes the Rotating Presidency of the CPLP.

The final results of the admission exam and the ratings will be available at the Bulletin Board of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers or by phone, to CEFTEC (3310003).

The beginning is scheduled for July, and will consist of three classes, one for each one of the levels (elementary, intermediate and advanced), with 18 trainees in each one of them. The training, conducted by teachers from the Teaching Qualification and Portuguese Language Teaching Program in Timor-Leste (PQLP-CAPES), will take place from Monday to Thursday, only 1 hour a day for each class, in the Training Room of the CEFTEC, at the Government Palace.

At the end of the training, the trainees that obtain the rating of "Excellent", "Good" or "Sufficient" will be awarded a Certification by the PQLP/CAPES.
