SoSSPPS implements Tendering Information System (TIS)
The Secretariat of State for the Support and Promotion of the Private Sector (SoSSPPS), through the Institute of Support to Business Development (IADE) which is under its tutelage, launched in the end of March, a new electronic disclosure of the tendering system, the Tendering Information System (TIS).
Thanks to the cooperation between IADE and Timor Telecom, entrepreneurs may now register themselves and receive, through a text message (SMS), in their telephone, information about current public tendering.
According to Veneranda Lemos, the Secretary of State for the Support and Promotion of the Private Sector, this electronic system allows the sending, through SMS, of information on offers and proposals about goods and services, minor capital and other information on business opportunities. Currently, about 4.200 firms have already registered across national territory.
IADE is also available to collect, from the buyers, information about offers, proposals and other information, which may then be sent to potential suppliers through SMS or e-mail.
“If businessmen show their interest on the tender, they may require a copy of it at the District Business Development Centre, in all districts.
